Collecting Checks and other Fiscal Documents

Collecting checks and other financial documents can be a very rewarding hobby. It provides an opportunity to learn about the financial industry and to learn about the history, businesses and people associated with the individual documents.

By determining and establishing your collecting interests, you can make collecting checks whatever you wish it to be. It is a hobby that you can customize to meet your needs and desires. The membership application form lists area of interest, and this a great tool for people new to the hobby to select an area for beginning a collection.

A good place to begin your education is with our Financial Documents Course.

Another great source of information is our Web Resources Page.

If you have questions and would like to know more about this great hobby, we would like to hear from you. Please e-mail our President, Hermann Ivester.   He will either answer your questions or put you in touch with another member who will.

We hope you choose this hobby and join the ASCC!
