Biodegradable Drinking Straws - as opposed to plastic which takes forever to decompose, polylactic acid(PLA), generated from renewable corn starch or sugar cane, can naturally degrade in 6-12 month exposed to the environment and the food-based material will do no chemical harm to the soil or water.
